Dear Mr. Huntsman, After seeing you on TV and listening to you I feel very strongly that you are a caring man in every aspect of life. My reason for writing is that I have a wonderful, brillient Rhumatologist. His name is Paul E. Thomson. He has been trying for about 5+ years to get an inportant invention delvloped and on the market., It is a scanner that shows inflammation in the joints of arthritic patients. As of now all diagnosis is purely suggestive–by feeling the swelling of joints and trying to detect the inflammation. He already has patents and done studies with his own volunteer patiens (I being one of them). Seems like everyone he has gone to has almost all control of this device. He wants it out there but also wants enough control that it will be built properly and be the best it can. He has been my Dr. for 17 years. I truley believe in what he is doing and eventually insurance companies will want more than a subjective diagnosis. He litterly has used all his won resources plus his fathers and his uncles. He is the type of Dr. that will spend 2 hours with you if you need him or 20 minutes. He has other ideas for inventions but they will never go anywhere until this Inflammation Scanner is on the market. His name is Paul E. Thomson, MD,, Phone 513-574-7174, address: 5420 Haft Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45247 I know if there is anyway you could help or advise him, he would be more than grateful and so would the many patients that support him. If some of us had the extra money we would gladly give it to him in a heart beat! He only wants the best for his patients and others and as one of my other doctors stated he is not just an Excellent Rhumatologist but he is also a very good Internist and all around personl. Something, unfortunatelly you don’t see much of these days. I sincerely thank you for your time and do hope you get this message. Sincerely, Sharon L. Staker, RN, CPC
