Working with Goodie Goodie Productions and the Philly Gathering, we produced the first Flava Fest on September 23rd, 2006 in Clark Park (Philadelphia). It was a free-admission park event to bring the community together for a day to celebrate the positive aspects of hip-hop culture. There were performance art displays, a break dancing competition, several vendors, DJs both nationally known and locally respected, and an open mic session.

From coordinating the logistics of the event, to executing the promotion and on-site management, we oversaw all aspects of Flava Fest. It was an amazing event that attracted over 2,500 people throughout the day, and we’re currently working on the second annual Flava Fest which will take place on September 21st and 22nd of 2007.
